Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Gordon Lake Tech Book App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and project members.

2. Your Account

To create or join a project you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for the content you upload or create.

3. Projects, Lists, and Member Access

The Service lets you create projects containing lists, rows, attachments, messages, and media. As a project owner you control who can access your project and what each member can do. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload or share through a project is yours to share and does not infringe the rights of others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, store, or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content; to attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours; to disrupt or overload the Service; or to use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Subscription, Billing, and Free Trial

The Service is offered at $20.00 (USD) per month, per project. Each new project includes a 14-day free trial. If you do not begin a paid subscription before the trial ends, your project enters a 7-day grace period, after which it is deactivated. Subscription fees are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and your project remains available until the end of the current paid period.

6. Refunds and Coupons

Fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. From time to time we may offer coupons or promotional access; coupons are subject to their stated terms and may be limited or revoked for abuse.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to a project. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you and your project members.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and neither the operator nor its suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
